• Ristorante Pizzeria Navona Notte: Located at 44 Via del Teatro Pace, near the Piazza Navona. A popular dinner spot after seeing the piazza by night. Telephone: 066 869278

• Al Passetto di Borgo Ristorante: Located at 60-62 Borgo Pio near Vatican City. Some say this was the Pope Emeritus’ favourite place on the Borgo. It is very well known and is along the walkway between the Vatican and Castel San’Angelo. Telephone: 066 8803957
• Bar Pascucci Frullati: Located at 20 Via di Torre Argentina, near the Pantheon. After ordering at this frulatti bar, one can stand at the bar sipping a cappuccino/espresso or having a panino. Their frulattis are great and made on the spot. This inexpensive cafe offers a great option for an on-the-go lunch. Telephone: 066 864816
• Duecento Gradi: Located at 3 Piazza del Risorgimento, near the entrance to the Vatican Museums. This inexpensive option offers great paninis that are made on the spot and are customizable. It is well worthwhile to sit down, although the price is slightly higher. Be prepared to wait in a long line. Telephone: 06 3975 4239
• Il Bacaro: Located at 27 Via degli Spagnoli, near the Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Mentioned in Luxury Magazine for their fabulous dishes. Reservations are required. Telephone: 06 687 2554
• La Sagrestia: Located at 89 Via del Seminario, near the Pantheon. The building was formerly a monastory and has now been converted into a restaurant. At La Sagrestia, one can enjoy a delicious meal at a reasonable price for what truly will be a cultural experience. Telephone: 066 797581
• La Taverna de’ Mercanti: Located at 3a Piazza de’ Mercanti in Trastevere. This restaurant is about 400 years old and about a dozen Italian movies have scenes that have been filmed here. It boasts traditional Roman food. Telephone: 06 588 1693
• Lo Scarpone: Located at 15 Via di San Pancrazio on the Gianicolo Hill. Offering delightful traditional dishes, this restaurant is great for large groups or, if the weather is nice, to sit out under the vine covered dinning area. Telephone: 06 5814094

• Salumeria Roscioli: Located at 21 Via dei Giubbonari, near the Campo dei Fiori. An extensive salami and wine bar. Listed in Luxury Magazine, if you would like to dine here, you must book 2 weeks in advance and it is recommended to request the main level. • Sora Lella il Ristorante dell’Isola Tiberina: Located at 16 Via di Ponte Quattro Capi, on the island in the Tiber River. In order to dine here, reservations must be made. This sophisticated restaurant presents customers with delicious and quintessentially Roman food options. Telephone: 066 861601
• La Ristorante Mirabelle: Located at Via di Porta Pinciana, 14 on top of the hotel Splendide Royal. Near Via Veneto. The food is great and the view even better. A little pricier but worth it. 06 4216 8838
